KNSR Mart (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the FlashMart mobile application and related services for shopkeepers, dealers, employees, and administrators in the FMCG distribution network. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our app and connected services.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone number, business/shop name, address, GSTIN, and role (shopkeeper, dealer, employee, admin).
- Order & transaction data: products ordered, quantities, amounts, GST, order status, invoices, and payment references.
- Payment data: payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers. We receive payment IDs, order IDs, and payment status from Razorpay after checkout.
- Location data: with your permission, we may collect GPS coordinates for store/business address and delivery routing.
- Device & usage data: device type, app version, push notification tokens, and logs needed for security and support.
- Onboarding documents: identity or business documents you upload during registration, where required.
3. How we use your information
- Create and manage your account and role-based access.
- Process orders, stock, deliveries, and invoices across the distribution network.
- Facilitate online payments through Razorpay and record payment status.
- Send order updates, approvals, and service notifications (including push notifications).
- Improve app performance, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Payment processing (Razorpay)
Online payments are handled by Razorpay Software Private Limited. When you pay by card, UPI, net banking, wallet, or other Razorpay-supported methods, your payment details are entered directly on Razorpay’s secure checkout. Our servers create a Razorpay order and verify payment status after checkout. Razorpay’s privacy practices are governed by their own policy at razorpay.com/privacy.
5. Sharing of information
We may share limited data with:
- Assigned dealers — shopkeeper order and delivery details needed to fulfil orders (contact details may be restricted by role).
- Service providers — cloud hosting (e.g. Google Cloud), email, push notifications, and payment partners.
- Legal authorities — when required by applicable law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
6. Data retention
We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and audit requirements (including GST and invoice records under Indian law). You may request deletion subject to applicable retention obligations.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we work to protect your data and review our practices regularly.
8. Your choices & rights
- Update profile and business details in the app where available.
- Manage notification preferences in profile settings.
- Revoke location permission in your device settings.
- Contact us to access, correct, or delete personal data, subject to legal limits.
9. Children
Our services are intended for business users and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
